Description and Learning Objectives

Gain a thorough overview of contemporary psychedelic research with Dr. Brian Rush, Dr. Olivia Marcus, and Kim Haxton in Seminar 5 of the MAPS Canada School of Psychedelics seminar series, Psychedelics in Canada: Past, Present and Future. In this seminar, Brian and Olivia will compare historical with current psychedelic research, explore the current foci of research, including substance use, PTSD, and mood disorders, and review and critique methodological approaches. Kim Haxton joins the seminar to share unique considerations for Indigenous, racialized and other equity-seeking groups in this informative seminar.
