Join instructors Francine Douglas and Kayla Breelove Carter for “Healing and Psychedelics in Indigenous Communities”, the second seminar of the MAPS Canada School of Psychedelics Psychedelics in Canada: Past, Present and Future series. In this seminar, Francine will delve into the history and ongoing impacts of colonization,the role of psychedelics in Indigenous communities and the role that psychedelic practitioners can have in fostering healing within Indigenous communities. Kayla Breelove Carter’s module on ancestral and racialized trauma will offer strategies for navigating the challenges associated with trauma, and provide insight into the ways that language and lenses can affect how these issues are perceived and addressed.
