Learn and discuss the latest discoveries in Canadian psychedelic research through our expert-led monthly sessions.
Psychedelic brain imaging has exploded in recent years, with more and more institutions and researchers entering the fold. This work has begun to characterize how psychedelics alter the interactions between regions and networks in the human brain, and how this all might relate to the psychedelic experience. Here I'll discuss concepts and perspectives derived from complexity science to help make sense of the situation. The talk will also include an overview of some of the main findings to date and dispel some commonly held myths about psychedelic neuroscience.
